2021 was an exciting year in the life of Stanwood Foursquare Church. In this year's report, you will see all the things the Lord allowed us to do organized around our mission of leading people to love and live like Jesus.
I am reminded that Jesus changes people's lives and what we do is so important and powerful. I am grateful for the privilege to see what the Lord is doing in the lives of people in our community.
I am so grateful for what God has done and look forward to where God is leading us in the future.

We had an average of 603 people engage weekly on Sunday mornings. This includes those who join us online and in person and with all the groups and community events, we have seen almost 60,000 people walk through our doors in 2021!
An important part of our church community is meeting together in small groups. We believe that meeting together, praying together, studying the Scriptures & caring for one another is what we are called to do & the way that we experience God’s grace and blessing in our lives.
Summer camp is a great time for kids to have fun, learn how to follow Jesus, and experience life change. This year we had to adjust how we did camp and we held day camp on our church campus for elementary students and Middle School & High School had an amazing camp experience thanks to a family in our church who hosted it on their property. We also want to say thank you for giving to the camp scholarship 5xFive campaign. Over $6800 was given to provide scholarships for students.
Middle School and High School students meet Wednesday nights and an average attendance of over 110 students met weekly last year. One Wednesday at Middle School group, 2 students came up to our Middle School leader and asked “Who is Jesus?” These girls had never heard the good news of Jesus and Josh was able to pray with them and introduce them to the love and grace of Jesus. We love and believe in our Foursquare Generation students!
Through the Arrival, our year-end Christmas giving campaign, we invite people to consider how to redirect some of their Christmas spending to the poor and vulnerable around the world. The Arrival 2021 received $279,587 which will go directly to the projects we committed to helping this year. Thank you for your generous giving!
SERVE OUR CITY
In May 2021, we took our worship to the streets! We headed into the community to weed whack, clean up parks, spruce up school yards and chop and stack firewood. Thank you to all who came out and save the date of JUNE 5 to Serve Our City in 2022! |
HOMES OF HOPE, ENSENADA, MEXICO
We took 36 men to Ensenada, Mexico in May to build 2 homes for families in need. An FG Youth team will also be going to Ensenada to build a home in April 2022. |
In early 2021, it became very clear that we needed to make more room for people to come and encounter the love of Jesus. Over the last 30 years, Stanwood Foursquare Church has seen thousands of lives transformed by Jesus as we have faithfully and consistently preached the Gospel. Because God has been faithful and the church has grown, we need to take a step of obedience by transforming the former hardware store into a space for worship, kids and connection.
We need to reduce steps as our kids spaces are in 3 different buildings all across our campus.
We need to be in step with our growing community. God has given our church influence and we need to steward that influence well.
We need to take a step of obedience. As followers of Jesus, we have been called to follow in Jesus’ steps; we need to pray, listen and obey God.
The time is now. The need is clear. I am asking you to join me for the next 3 years to commit to give financially to help us take the steps God is asking us to take. This building won’t be a trophy, but a tool to lead people to find and follow Jesus.
